How do I begin to update the content and pages on my web site?
Your Welcome Letter contains your temporary site address, your site User Name and Password. At the bottom of your site you will see a link named Site Admin. Just click on the link, enter your user name and password and you will be in the site administration area. Here you can change the look, modify content, add pages and much more!
Is making changes to my web site difficult or require any type of web or technology experience?
Making changes to your web site is as easy as “point, type and click”. Our system is very intuitive and there are helpful hints to guide you. There are also easy to follow Help Guides accessed from the link in the upper right corner of the web site administration area.
I didn’t receive my E mail with my site Welcome Information. What’s wrong?
The Welcome E mail is sent to the E mail address you established when the account was activated. If the E mail address was correct, it may be in an overly aggressive SPAM filter you have associated with your E mail account. Regardless, if you cannot find it, please give us a call at (866) 558-7483 and we will be happy to resend it to you via E mail or Fax.
When do I get my domain name? I don’t like the temporary domain name you gave me.
It is important to select your new personalized domain name as soon as possible. All you need to do is log into the administration area of your site, click on the link associated with the Register A Domain Name area, search for the best domain possible then use your domain name pre-paid code found on your welcome letter to complete the process. Within 12 hours after your domain name is registered, it should work and direct you to your site.
Do I get any domain name I want with this offer?
When you agree to our services, you can select from any one available domain name with a .com, .net, .org, .biz or .info extension. To find out if the domain name that you want is available, click on the "get started" link under the Register a Domain Name heading on the Main Page within your web site administration area. Additional domain names can be purchased at our regular priced domain name fee.
Your offer said that the domain name is free for the life of my active account. Is that true?
Of course! As long as your account is active and billing is current, we will automatically continue to renew your domain name. Just another way we can make your web presence hassle free.
I already own a domain name. Can I direct it to my new site?
Of course! There is a Help Guide that will tell you what to do but it is simple. Once you change the domain name servers in your domain name record, let us know and we will add your domain name to our system. Shortly thereafter, it will begin to be directed to your new web site. When can I set up my E mail accounts?
As soon as your new domain name (or preexisting one that you have had directed to your new site) works, you can add users in the administration area under the Web Site Security tab then log in to the Virtual Office to create the E mail account. There is a simple step-by-step Help Guide to assist you, if necessary located via a link in the upper right hand corner of the wen site administration area.
How many e-mail accounts can I have?
With your domain name you automatically get up to 25 e-mail accounts that match. Need more? – let us know.
I have accepted the Terms of Service and entered my payment information. When does billing occur?
The billing for your first month and any related set up fee occurs instantly when you activate your account. After that, billing will be one month later and so on for the life of the account
How long of a commitment do I have to make to take advantage of this special pricing?
When you activated your account you agreed to the Terms of Service. There is no contract to sign for your BizSitePro web solutions, hosting and maintenance. The service is on a month to month basis and can be cancelled at any time.
I have my own logo and would like my web site to match my preexisting marketing materials. Can you create a look that complements my business?
Yes! We would be happy to create a “look” for your site that is uniquely yours. Check out the Custom Styles area of the Main Page in web site administration or give us a call for more details and pricing.
How much server “space” do I get for my web site?
We do not limit web site size or space in a traditional sense as many hosting providers do. Our sites have the capability to support a large number of pages and their related content. We do have a file storage area within the administration area of your site that is designed for downloadable documents and other files used on certain pages. It has an initial limit of 20MB. If additional storage space is ever needed, give us a call and it is available at a nominal price.
Is Internet Access required to have a Web site?
No, Internet access is not a requirement in order to have a Web site; however, you do need it if you want to view your Web site. But it's important to realize that all of your potential customers who have Internet Access will be able to visit your Web site.
Can I limit access to certain areas of the site?
This is a very important feature. You can password protect any one, or all of the pages of your site and assign usernames and passwords only to those individuals you want to access the information.
Can I sell products online?
With the optional BizSitePro My E Store feature you have access to an easy-to-use e-commerce package that includes a shopping cart where you can upload pictures of your products, maintain inventories, change pricing daily if you like, and many more special functions.
Is my optional BizSitePro web site shopping cart safe for my customers to use?
Yes, every BizSitePro My E Store checkout area is protected with security certificates and 128 bit encryption technology.
Is there a limit to the number of pages I can add?
You can include virtually all the number of pages you need for your site for no additional charge.
Can photos be added to the site?
Absolutely! Many of our pages support the use of photos. You can upload your own photograph or other images directly to your site through an easy to use feature designed just for this purpose.
How often can I update my Web site once it is created?
You can update your site as often as you like, 24 hours a day. Just use your username and password to access the site admin area. You don't have to contact any technical support team and wait on hold forever. However, we are always happy to hear from you and assist you with your updates.
Do I have to call you to make changes to my site?
That's one of the reasons our customers love their site. You are in control and never have to call us unless you want to. We've designed a highly user friendly area in your site with easy to follow instructions that allow you to manage everything about your site. It's password protected for your security, so you also control who has access. Even computer novices find it easy to use.
What are some ways I can use my Web site to market my business?
One of the best things about being on the Web is the wealth of marketing opportunities that you get overnight. Use your Web site to keep your vendors up to date on your products and services, and educate your customers about your business and what you have to offer.
